881 / Hairspray

today went out with my parents to AMK hub.. finally got the chance to bring them there.. hehe.. well. brought them to watch 881 as they requested to watch it... so why not.. think it has been 20 over years since the last time they entered a cinema.. yupp.. so it was a great experience for them i guess! watched 881 and bought 3 tickets.. as we used the NTUC Fairprice plus card... we were able to buy 3 tickets and get the other 1 free... yippe~ so i chose to watch Hairspray.. although watched alone but its okie... watched 881 at 3.20pm and then Hairspray at 7pm.. cool! movie marathon.. haha :) fun fun!

after watching 881.. i quite like it and i give it a 4 upon 5 since it is very localized and content wise.. not bad... the worst part is that i had to watch it with the rest of the cinema filled with people who had an average age of 50 years old... goodness... LOL... i was like hmmm.. did i enter the wrong cinema.. haha :) oh well.. 881... a local show that attracts anyone of any age group.. so well done! touching scene at the end.. made me shed a tear... too touching le.. or maybe because i watching with my parents... made me more emotional.. hmmm... wonder wonder.. haha :)

after watching 881.. went around to grab something to eat.. like quick bites... then decided to go up and wait to see if it was time to go in. and yupp.. cinema 3 was blinking already.. yipee! so i went in and realized that i was the 1st one there... 1st time man! goodness.. sitting there alone! then dark area.. LOL... hmmm... luckily didnt see anything extra.. hha... or hear anything. oh well~ waited and waited and finally people came... in total not more than 35 people.. LOL.. really.. in the whole cinema... hmmm.. but overall i give it a 4 upon 5 too.. love the show... like musical and dance.. love it... superb nice.. and it is very educational too... it tells us that integration and no segregation. yupp... hehe :) quoted from the movie. think u guys understand what i trying to say ba.. hehe :) yup...

after movie.. went for dinner at S11.. then took bus back.. cant believe an entire day at AMK hub and that area.. LOL :) freaking hmm.. cause it is like my 3rd home.. and a bit sianz liao... but must let my parents tour around there.. let them see where i hang out.. i was practically the tour guide today.. FREE OF CHARGE one.. LOL :P

Out I GO!

have been staying at home for quite some days.. and guess it is time to go out and take in some fresh air.. yupp.. that is what i shall do... will meet the guys tomoro for some job seeking.. thereafter.. hehe :P will have some celebration.. whaha :) yupp.. so hopefully will have a good time. LOL :) and recently has been very busy with UNISCALI 2007 thus hard to plan other events. yupp.. and hope to hear all good news and responses.. yupp :)

1st Day of the Holidays (Part 1)

after the Investment Exam.. we all jumped for joy and started talking and chit chatting... like where to go.. what to do... what to eat... where to play.. LOL.. stuff like that... it is really a relief to know that exams are finally over and we could enjoy to the fullest.... yipee!

it was pouring and thus we eliminated Orchard.. then Vivocity too.. as we went there 2 weeks ago.. then Bugis... too boring.. LOL... then bla bla bla and then decided to go to City Hall... as there are 3 places that we can choose from.... Raffles City Shopping Centre... Marina Square and Suntec City... and the final verdict... MARINA SQUARE! more restaurants to choose from. yupp...

we went over to this Japanese restaurant.. is it called akazu sabo... LOL... it was a nice restaurant... and food was hmmm... 3 stars out of 5... so yupp.. average... okie okie.. yupp... we chit chat for like quite long... and it was so fun... laughing.. talking about each other.. teasing.. LOL.... fun times... finally HERE! yesh! yupp :)

after the meal... we headed to the Marina Square Superbowl to have a game.. it was simply FUN!!! we split into 2 groups and the 1st team consists of Soo, Lilian, Teo (that's me), Gilbert and Guo Wen.. 2nd team consists of Grace, Dor Tan, Han Quan, Jin Hui and Josie.. so every round we went in pairs and compete among each other.. of course we also look at the final scores of both teams... yupp... Team 1 VS Team 2 and Team 1 was the overall WINNER! woo~ hoo~ to my team.. LOL :P lots of photos taken. so pls stay tuned to my blog yup... shall post soon! once i get my hands on it... :)

thereafter... we went shopping around and after an hour... i left the group as i met Stef and Zj for the 2nd part of the day.. LOL... they came to find me at Marina Square too.. and we ate at Pizza Hut.. yupp.. the cheesy fiesta combo.... kinda nice i guess.. quite like it.. yup... took lots of photos using ZJ's mac book as well as Stef's cam... shall be posted soon... we went shopping around shopped for Stef's present too.. let her choose what she wants.. and in the end only 1 top. LOL.. so think will continue another day ba.. hehe :) but we really managed to catch up a lot and it was great! catching up with old friends.. yup.. :) fun time... had such a fun day with all my lovely friends.. yupp... managed to start the holidays with a BANG! Sick and More Sick

hmmm... thought everything seems fine but no nO No NO!!!! after the GI paper went out with mum right.. to have dinner at White Sands.. that time feeling damn hungry... we ate like those Tim Sum kind... Siew Mai and Pao and stuff... not a lot.. then i felt full le.. hmmm.. weird... only a few stuff only.. hmmm.. wonder is it the glutinous rice haha... well.. thought nothing... we bought Old Chang Kee back as we had a coupon that offers $2 discount.. yupp.. so yupp.. but i didn't eat it till like 9 plus... then went to bed around 10 plus 11 plus.. read some archie comics.. cause no mood to study. yupp.. then slept as feeling kinda tired.. then it all started....

i felt very nauseous and feel like vomiting.. then couldn't sleep as feeling very cold.. then kept flipping here and there... hmmm.. then i really could not take it anymore... i felt like vomiting.. so i went to the toilet thinking that maybe only diarrhoea or something... since like stomach not feeling well... but ended up as a Merlion... wow! it was freaking painful and my whole body ached till now.... felt so much better after vomiting and then went to take a bath to cool myself down...

but this morning i woke up feeling superb duperb weak... bones like crushing and then feeling sleepy... then no appetite also... then weak and more weak... argh! last paper le and then like that... hmmm... no choice have to buck up... but feeling sleepy and weak as i typed every single letter.. argh! jiayou to myself then :)

Camera Fever

i really wan my own digital camera.. then i can bring everyday to anywhere i like.. and have a feel of being a photographer.. taking good photos and posting it in my blogs.. and yupp.. whaha :) just can't wait to get my hands on one.. argh! i like the Canon SD40.. 7 megapixels.. and then i also like the Canon Powershot A460 as it is more budget.. think $240 can get le.. haha :) so yupp...

today is the General Insurance paper and i am so freaking happy... hmmm.. because its over le.. but then the paper was erm... hmmm... i hope can pass that kind.. so yupp... dun really wanna elaborate... LOL.. :) hope for the best cause i know i did my best le... yupp.. until the very last minute still writing so yupp... well... anyway after the paper went out with my mum to White Sands... yupp... to have dinner and then walk awhile to unwind.. yupp.. so pretty relaxed today ba.. watched lots of TV like holiday already.. but actually still have Investment exam on Friday lor.. whaha :) and then bought a few Archie Comics to keep. so will slowly read to unwind myself.. if i really read then within a day or a few hours can finish lor. haha :) but must treasure it since it is so freaking expensive.. but i got collect so yupp.. haha.. collection... so looking forward to my collection like a few years from now.. hehe :) well.. met Yan Ching on the bus while on my way back.. chatted and then miss the feeling of chit chatting in chalet and then unwinding and just enjoying every moment with my dearest friends.. yupp.. hmmm... miss u guys so so much!!! :) haiz.. haha.. soon will be able to fulfill that.. so yupp.. patience... :) so i intend to start my Investment studies tomoro... yupp.. today is the day that marks the last 5 days of mugging and stressing before holidays.. yupp.. its the final final final countdown.. hooray! yesh! man... have been studying GI all the while and really kept reading and reading as really worried for this module.. scare that i might miss out a few points... wonder how my friends are doing with GI?? well.. hopefully everyone will clear GI and get on to the next semester.. yupp :) well... its been such a long time since i met the gang.. i miss all of them... hmmm... so many things to do with them.. hanging out.. chilling out... snapping photos... playing mahjong... eating... chit chatting.. catching up.. and bla bla bla.. LOL... yupp... miss all that.. but soon will be able to do that. yupp... well... better get back to GI then.. actually hope to clear soon then can start on my Investments... yupp. if not never study later too much for me to handle.. then faint! hehe! :P

Sunday

today is sunday liao.. so fast.. very soon will be tuesday and then friday and then end of exams and start of holidays.. yesh! haha :) well.. today studied some investments and of course continue on my GI.. LOL.. its hard.. really.. torturing.. like what i told Gloria that day... haiz... cannot repeat so must study until faint also must study... got flu today... took the medicine just now and as the medicine will cause drowsiness... i felt superb tired.. and plus all the sneezing the whole day... my whole body is aching.. argh! LOL :P its tiring.. but still have to study.. remembering the days... last semester... i felt even more sick then this time.. got flu and cough and feverish... and then still need to go back school for the IPP postings.. haha.. really makes me happy and relieved that i was able to overcome that period of time and managed to come into this semester.. so with that kind of spirit.. i must continue to work towards my grades and jiayou.. cannot let the flu get into me.. though i am feeling superb tired now.. dizzy and yupp.. aching all over.. while i typed.. LOL :) so good luck to all and jiayou.. hang in there... a few more days only.. yupp :)

Saturday

today was a ok ok day.. LOL.. productivity... erm.. hmmm.... think 75% ba... haha.. still lack the 25% of pushing myself... so yupp... the night is still young ba.. think still can managed to go 1 last round of GI before i sleep.. so yupp.. going to start chanting my GI manual to myself... and hopefully not too loud.. alter wake the neighbours.. LOL... yup... well.. the above picture was taken when i was doing CMFI previously... then tired liao start using my phone to take all sorts of effects.. yupp.. the negative one came out quite nice.. so yupp.. surprisingly... haha :) hmm. before i go study.. think maybe i can share with you guys my GI stuff.. think complain more lor.. LOL.. hahas :) so many insurance to study lor..

we have from the basic principles of insurance.. to the risk and bla bla bla.. not to mention the following insurance policies... Fire Insurance... Theft Insurance... Money Insurance... Fidelity Guarantee Insurance... Public Liability Insurance... Workmen Compensation Insurance... Motor Insurance... and the KING OF THE KINGS... Business Interruption Insurance... argh! LOL :) that's like superb terrible.. hahas :) well.. think at least still remember all these lor.. cause its like managed to memorize some stuff.. but still need to read more and read and read and READ! well.. better go back to studying le.. or should i say mugging.. argh! wish me LUCK!

woo hoo~ one paper down and 2 more to go... just woke up from my little nap like 2 hours.. LOL :) feeling energetic and ready to conquer General Insurance.. yupp! so better get to work before my mum screams at me for saying dun regret later when finished exams.. LOL... so i wont... and i must not do so. so better study now!!! yup.. today's paper was okie... average... so manageable... except that some carelessness here and there.. oOps... LOL.. but its over... should be able to pass ba... just that not very well.. shity! but still got 2 more. so jiayou jiayou jiayou...yupp.. to all of u and myself... :) hope to conquer GI today and tomorrow.. then sunday investments.. then monday revise through GI then tuesday to thursday is Investment again then FRIDAY that day after the exam.. think the group o f us going out right.. dun fly aeroplane okie.. so we must plan to go eat and then fun fun and more FUN! yupp... woo hoo~

Thursday

today revised through CMFI and in a very slack way i guess... cause reading through then rest then revise some more then rest. LOL :) erm... hopefully the paper tomoro will be manageable and able to pass with some flying colours.. haha :) then tomoro will start war again.. memorizing GI.. OMG la... LOL :P so much to read and study.. hmmm. sianz but its okie.. last lap le.. investments havent study also.. argh! think tomoro and saturday will be GI then sunday investments then monday revise through GI again then tuesday - thursday Investments.. yupp... hopefully that will be enough to sum everything up.. then FREEDOM! yupp.. can't wait. though just around the corner liao.... yupp.. jiayou to myself and my frens and anyone taking exams.. yupp.. Wednesday

its 12 plus liao.. and i am still revising through some CMFI questions.. cause finished the past year papers.. but then got some queries so asked triple L.. then yupp.. some answered but some not.. so still have to search for answers.. yupp... hmmm.. hopefully.. by 1pm can finished then after lunch can start on GI.. woo~ hoo~ LOL :P hahas :) well... actually today supposed to meet Gloria again at Elias mac to study.. but then i got diarrhoea and stuff and stomach not very well.. then staying at home to study GI lor.. yupp.. so better get going le.. jiayou... tomoro will be the last round for CMFI before the FINAL EXAM.. LOL :)

Tuesday

studied with Gloria at Elias Mall Mac again. yupp... finished almost everything for CMFI.. left with the last part... last lecture la actually... the Long Term Equity Financing... yup.. sianz.. though i would rather choose Debt and Capital Structure for exams but still have to know a bit. just in case.. LOL :) hopefully by wednesday can start GI liao.. then won't so tired during weekends studying GI.. and Investments.. goodness.. LOL :P anyway at night.. around 8 plus. Kenny came over.. then had a chat a while after all the studying.. not bad.. yupp.. great.. haha.. but Gloria and i had some fun while studying.. LOL :) enjoy the photos.. don't laugh until fall off the chair ok!

Monday

studied CMFI at home from morning.. think around 10 plus till noon.. then received a call from Gloria... she asked me to study with her as she wanted company.. so we met at Elias Mall Mac and study till like 4 plus 5 cause she went to Tampines to meet her hubby.. yupp... studied like cost of capital... capital structure and long term debt financing... lol.. yup.. tomoro will continue more...

today is the big day for entrepreneurship... we met in school at 8am... with me reaching at around 7.20am.. erm.. PASIR RIS lor.. i am the 1st to turn up.. then followed by lilian, jin hui, grace, HQ then Soo.. yupp... we rehearsed twice and it seems to be going well. so i think our group was really ready and can handle anything... lol... so 9.30am and the judges have not arrived.. then we waited and waited and finally... they are here... we were sent outside the lab to wait while the external judges are briefed by our SBM lecturer.. or staff.. yupp... then it was SHOW TIME... after 20-30 minutes... it was over... whew! FINALLY! the race for this module.. entrepreneurship is over... valuable lessons were learnt though we were all drained and really put in the extra effort to make it work and at the same time to score well.. yupp... :) but i have to say.. GOOD EFFORT TEAM! so very happy... yupp... jiayou to exams my friends... yupp.. we can do it.. its the last lap le.. :)

then after the presentation we went over to vivocity to celebrate our success in completing this module... we went to a Jap restaurant for lunch and the food tasted great! photos will be uploaded soon thus not much illustration here... cause pictures shows a thousand words... yupp...

then we were curious with regards to the sentosa express... like what are the stations and is it convenient... whether it would take us around sentosa and stuff... we just wanted to take the train to experience the train.. LOL... and then go and have some fun.. after taking the train over to sentosa... we alighted at the beach station.. and then took the skyride as well as the luge... it was freaking fun.. the height is really WOW! and doreen lim was like screaming and screaming.. the view was really great la.. superb nice.. really... fun experience.. definitely a MUST GO AGAIN RIDE! the luge also very fun.. except had a small accident.. haha.. crashed into the grass area.. oOps... but managed to continue the journey.. fun time... really.. fast and adrenaline pumping. yupp... :) cool! got photo to prove but haven't upload so pls wait patiently...

then we went back to vivo as we were supposed to be at St James at 5pm.. we were running a little late. but overall okie la... so yupp... managed to catch Jing Hui sing.. so not bad.. got photos too. whaha :) evidence... think that her performance improved from the previous competition. so really CONGRATULATION to her.. :) jiayou my dearest cousin.. confirm can do it de.. no prob.. yup... so jiayou ba.. will listen to your songs. and try to help you market. haha :)

after the event we went to vivo for dinner.. at the white dog cafe... more photos here.. chit chat until siao so yupp... then after dinner went around vivo.. those places where u can just sit around the steps and then chat until u feel tired.. we left around 11pm then took train back.. feeling tired le... yupp.. photos will be uploaded soon once i get hold of it.. yupp. whaha :) so yupp. thats all for today.. which is like a lot.. its been such a long time since i have blog this long. so happy reading.. :)

lets have a celebration.. LOL... actually today supposed to be out with my parents.. we planned to go to the esplanade.. area.. then watched fireworks and stuff. but didn't.. scare too many people.. and another thing is that i have exams la.. so can study at home.. read a few chapters also considered read lor. LOL.. so went to NTUC west plaza branch... stock up on food and lots of stuff.. up to $70 bucks.. LOL.. siao right... 3 of us only.. toilet rolls. tissue boxes... chips.. meat... rice.. bla bla bla... preparing a feast at home. whaha :) so yup.. the NATIONAL DAY FAMILY FEAST! haha.. yup.. yummy... so will watch NDP parade from home and enjoy good food.. yup...

then today watched Rush Hour 3.. PREVIEW some more... cool! very hilarious... so worth the price... but since nEbO member then still 6 bucks too.. shareholder of the card la actually. LOL..

then this movie is the movie i wanna watch... HAIRSPRAY! retro dancing musical i guess.. love this kind.. yup.. :P
